Growth
According to U.S. Census figures, the Town of Queen Creek's population was 4,316 at the end of April 2000. Assistant Town Manager, John Kross, estimates that the current population is 19,400 based on new single family residential building permits issued as of March 2005.

Education
\There are six school districts serving the Queen Creek area, in addition to charter schools and specialized schools. It is important to note that school district boundaries are not the same as municipal and county boundaries. Area residents with a Queen Creek address or zip code are not necessarily served by the Queen Creek Unified School District. Prospective homeowners are encouraged to call area school districts to confirm which districts and schools serve an individual property. The Town of Queen Creek municipal government is not involved in the operation of schools.
